Grade Results® was started by people committed to the creative use of Internet technology to improve the practice of teaching.

Our senior executives are:

Suzanne McElyea, CEO
Suzanne H. McElyea, CPA, graduated with a BBA from Texas A&M University. She spent 23 years with Price Waterhouse, now PricewaterhouseCoopers, initially in the audit and finally in the Transaction Structuring Group. She was at various times based in the Dallas, New York and London offices, working in many states and countries on various financial and structuring issues. In 2004, she joined Socratic Learning, Inc. as its Chief Operating Officer, growing the startup to over 450 instructors operating in 29 states in just 2 years.

Craig Ullman, COO
Mr.Ullman is the inventor of eSchoolT Online, one of the first software suites for e-learning. eSchool was the first commercial product that combined digitized video with the automatic display of synchronous web pages. eSchool has been used by many state departments of education (Georgia, Texas, etc.), major school districts (Dallas, Houston, NYC, etc.) and major educational publishers (McGraw-Hill and Holt, Rinehart) to extend their initiatives to the Web using dynamic combinations of multimedia with integrated assessment. eSchool was acquired by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich in 2004. In addition to his experiences in interactive multimedia content creation and product development, Mr. Ullman holds seven patents on enhanced media and the Internet, and one on Interactive Television.

Mr. Ullman has written numerous columns on educational technology for the United States Distance Learning Association's magazine Journal, and has been published frequently in Techlearning.com. He co-wrote an academic paper, "Course Management Systems and the Reinvention of Instruction" for T.H.E. Journal.

Mr. Ullman received a B.A. in English and Political Science from Bucknell University, and a Master of Fine Arts in English from Brown University.

Matti Prima, Executive Vice President
Mr. Prima is the former President of the Peoples Publishing Group, where he hired and managed a 50 member sales force and established the company's licensing program for international as well as national sales. Prior to his time at Peoples, Mr. Prima was Vice President of Finance at Siegel & Gale, Inc., responsible for the financial management of four divisions of the company. Before his experience at Siegel & Gale, Mr. Prima was a director at KPMG in New York, responsible for the information, communications and entertainment markets.

Bill Diggins, Executive Vice President
William Diggins has more than thirty years experience in business consulting, media production, and executive management, working in a wide variety of industries in the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia. He was President of Performance Media & Technology, which provides online professional development for clients including McGraw Hill, South Alabama University and the State of Alabama. He is the former Senior Vice President of ACTV, Inc., managing the operations and implementation of eSchoolR Online, the leading provider of customized, online, professional development training for the K-12 education market. He conducted large-scale projects with school districts, states, and publishers to create hundreds of innovative, online programs in a variety of curricular areas.

As a result of product quality, technical support, and proactive customer communication, nearly all projects resulted in repeat business.

Rodney H. Johnson EdD, Educational Consultant
Dr. Johnson has many years experience as an educational leader in a wide variety of educational institutions. He began his career as a high school math teacher. Dr. Johnson eventually moved into educational leadership, becoming a principal for elementary, middle school, and high school. He then became the Executive Director of Houston Operations for Houston Can! and Program Director for Learning 4 Today. He serves as an educational consultant for Grade Results, advising the company on all of its programs and practices.

Annease Jones, PhD, Program Manager, Georgia
Ms. Jones has spent a career excelling in the Atlanta Public Schools. Dr. Jones began her career as an English and French teacher. She became a media specialist, eventually earning her doctorate from Georgia State University. She was named Teacher of the Year at J.C. Harris Elementary School, 1989-1990. Dr. Jones has recently left the Atlanta Public School s and and has joined Grade Results to manage our programs in Georgia.

Miguel Hernandez, Director of Student Services
Mr. Hernandez began his career as a bilingual teacher in Dallas ISD. Miguel acquired a Masters of School Counseling and worked as a high school guidance councilor for over 5 years. Miguel is currently our Director of Student Services, managing the student experience as they access our services.

Kathryn M. Harkenrider, Director of Project Management
Trained as a speech pathologist, Ms. Harkenrider has spent over twenty years in implementing educational products and services. She has worked for Ignite Learning, Learnstar, Edutrax, Tudor Publishing, and National Computer Systems (NCS) and Scantron. Based in Dallas, Ms. Harkenrider has a unique understanding of the needs of Dallas ISD. She has implemented and trained teachers throughout Dallas ISD on Scantron's test scoring equipment. In addition, for NCS, she worked with the district's assessment staff in the conversion of scanned forms to new optical scanning equipment.

Roxana Chevez Herra, Director of Content Development
Ms. Chevez Herra has a graduate degree in TESOL, with over ten years of experience teaching bilingual students. After receiving an education in both the United States and Costa Rica, she has spent years teaching in Costa Rica schools, a country whose school system is officially bilingual. She currently works as a Grade Results' Director of Content Development, while spending time teaching working as an adjunct professor at the University of Costa Rica. The managers of the content areas report to her.

Regina Reeves, Senior Project Manager
Ms. Reeves has over 10 years teaching experience in urban schools, continuous professional development in research based teaching and learning strategies and exceptional skills in effective classroom design, student time/task management, and initiating/maintaining parental involvement. She is currently working on her graduate degree in education while managing several major projects for the company.
