Pedagogy
Curriculum
The content used in our tutoring is either material we have created aligned with the student’s state standards, or content the student uses in the classroom. Our content is built in Macromedia Flash, and contains text, graphics, animations and sounds to promote understanding and appeal to different learning styles.
We have a digital copy of each textbook used by the district. When a student tells us, “I don’t understand the concept on page 62,” our tutor will turn to the same page in the same textbook and work with the student on the exact material. In this way, our work dovetails with the classroom activity, rather than competes against it.
