In 2005, Ms. McElyea founded Grade Results, Inc, with the mission to improve student learning outcomes by providing high quality, empowering, and enriching online learning experiences that are responsive to each student's individual needs.
‍
Ms. McElyea has more than 20+ years of experience in the tutoring services and supplemental educational services industry. Under her leadership, Grade Results became the leading educational service provider.

She is active in the day-to-day operations of the company. Her roles and responsibilities in the company include general management, organizational and financial management oversight, proposal review, and implementation activities.

Prior to establishing Grade Results, Ms. McElyea had a 24-year career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a CPA and has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

Online Public Education

Students in Chicago between the ages of 16 and 20 who need an online high school option can enroll in this tuition-free program and earn a high school diploma. Students will be provided with a laptop and Internet access at no cost.

  5. Certified Nursing Assistant

  8. Cybersecurity Foundations
  9. Drone Operation
  10. Microsoft Office
  11. Music Technology/Appreciation
  12. Pharmacy Technician
  13. Programming and IT Support: Python

"All online activities and communications are captured and recorded for review in their entirety, by parents/guardians and students plus authorized administrators and educators; these records include all lessons including live lectures, tutoring sessions, emails, and learning platform issued text messages."

This program requires that students have the commitment and motivation to take advantage of our rich and rigorous online courses plus stay connected virtually with our dedicated instructors. In addition to earning a high school diploma, students will have the opportunity to earn work certificates. Parents and immediate family members will also be offered classes free of charge and may earn a high school diploma from Grade Results.
